Experienced Head of Finance to lead the Finance function and take the organisation through a period of growth and change.

The client is a leading, Bristol based national charity that provide an invaluable service to their recipients and pride themselves on the quality of their service.
Description
As the Head of Finance you will:
- To take overall responsibility for the services delivered by the finance team, and to ensure appropriate, efficient and effective financial systems and controls are in place within the department in order to minimise risk. To manage the annual audit, including liaison with auditors and preparation of accounts.
- Proactively review finance processes and controls necessary to ensure compliance with funders and statutory requirements and to safeguard the assets of the organisation. Preparation of monthly management accounts. To support the senior management team in the analysis of monthly results. Provide line management to the Finance Team. Develop and implement procedures and policies to ensure best practice is followed.
- Work with senior management team members to develop the annual budgets, and liaise with senior managers to ensure that budgets are managed effectively and commercially. Internal Audit - To carry out a periodic review and internal audit of the organisation. Financial modelling and forecasting - provide an analysis of financial monitoring throughout the organisation. Cash Flow - preparation of cash flow forecasts identifying areas of risk and monitoring against actual performance.
Profile
The successful Candidate will be/have:
Fully Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA. Strong working knowledge and experience of financial reporting and preparation of statutory accounts. Problem solving, analytic and reporting skills. Proven ability to appraise the financial systems, processes, and controls, and identify and implement changes to the processes and procedures. High level of IT literacy, in particular in regards to accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Job Offer
