Metro are currently seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their Infrastructure Finance team located at E-Gate, North Melbourne. You will partner with the business to provide financial / analytical support, enhanced decision making and maximise outcomes on business issues. You will be required to prepare and validate financial assessments of new technologies, changes in Maintenance and Renewal activity, capital expenditure proposals and Business Cases Valuation of initiatives. Enhance understanding and contribute to meeting spend and Unit Rate challenges across the business. A key component of this role will be business partnering, best suited to an individual that enjoys interaction with others and is confident to engage in conversations across the business, with a variety of key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Support the achievement of Balance Scorecard objectives Adherence to all legislative and regulatory requirements
Act as a key support to business case, investment analysis, funding and change proposals
Analyse business processes to identify and assess how material risks are mitigated and whether improvements are necessary
Appraise requirements and make recommendations in respect to work methods and techniques
Conduct unit rate analysis
Contribute to the financial and technical requirements of Asset Management Information Systems
Financial management of Escrow, top-ups and contingency funding
Lead and prepare the validation of advance financial modelling (NPV, DCF, etc)
Prepare and validate budgets, forecasts and projections (Including AWP and 8 year forecasts)
Prepare and validate Capex applications
Provide financial / commercial insight into businesss key financial deliverables
Support the AMP financial change management process
Undertake tasks and special projects as directed by the Financial Controller
Use and contribute to the financial and technical requirements of Asset Management Information Systems
