Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Leicester/Home based
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum plus benefits
6-12 Month Fixed Term contract
Key Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial and management information across a portfolio of contracts to the Leisure Senior Team, assisting where necessary to enable them to make well informed business decisions.
You will take full ownership of the management and financial reporting for the contract portfolio and line management responsibility for at least 1 Assistant Management Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
As the Management Accountant you will provide accurate and timely financial reporting including the production of monthly accounts with insightful and actionable commentary on key business drivers. You will be responsible for the overall contract balance sheets to include monthly reviews, detailed quarterly review, and actions to clear. You will also promote and lead on continuous improvement of financial processes as well as pick up project work.
What you need to do the job
Firstly, you must have a finance qualification or degree, either ACCA or CMA. You must have a track record of collaborating with business leaders in a complex business environment. You will have strong commercial acumen, as well as demonstrable experience of understanding
relationships between key financial and non-financial business value drivers. You must have experience of having worked in a virtual team. Lastly, you will be adaptable energetic and a continuous learner.
