Job DescriptionWe are looking for Assistant Finance Manager who responsible for overall operations of the Finance and Accounts Department, inclusive of financial matters, reporting, fund management and preparing management reports.
Overall Main Responsibilities
  • Involve in financial closing activities, preparing the monthly management financial statements and reports, in close cooperation with team members within the allocated timeframe.
  • Ability to be hands-on and involve in preparation of journal entries, accounting and tax schedules with support from team members.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agent and other statutory bodies on accounting and financial related matters.
  • Responsible to provide training, guidance and support to the Finance and Accounts team, to monitor and review their performance to ensure achieve the targeted goal and maintain reasonable quality of works.
  • Preparation and review of corporate tax computations and SST computations of the Group.
  • Involve in drafting of full set audited financial statements for the Group.
  • Perform other related duties that may direct or assign by the Management from time to time.
  • Checking of payment vouchers prepared by account payable team.
  • Initiate and follow through the strike off process for dormant companies.

Assistant Manager Roles:
  • Reports to Senior Finance Manager.
  • To organise, assign and supervise the Finance and Accounts staff on their job function, performance and day to day operation.
  • Prepare and review the accounting, financial and other related reports / documents for internal, external reference or circulation and to ensure the reports are submitted accurately and timely.
  • Responsible in compliance and internal control related matters and streamline operating processes including involvement in Finance system enhancement, change initiatives to improve overall process flow efficiency and effectiveness, reporting, financial analysis and compliance.
  • Maintain and monitor entity cash flow and financial results/information and liaise with the Treasury on entity inputs for Group cashflow and consolidation reporting.

Role Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 4-5 years of working experience in the related field
  • Preferably experienced Senior/ Assistant Manager specialising in Finance - General/Cost Accounting
  • Must have experience in leading at least 2 subordinates
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting software
