Job Purpose and Impact

Assistant Manager - Costing is responsible for the oversight of day-to-day operations of the end-to-end Costing process. The candidate is expected to have strong domain expertise in product costing ,SAP and strong analytical skills.

In this role, you will lead and develop a team, oversee decision-making and problem solving, influence and drive change together with stakeholders, monitor and review key performance indicators and metrics and lead specific projects to drive efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

  • Facilitate stakeholder management by building robust, credible business relationships with key partners and stakeholders and build communication plans to keep teams working toward the same goals.
  • Focus on driving quality with a view towards robust performance management, stakeholder feedback and active metrics management like lag and lead measures.
  • Support an internal control environment within finance, including risk mitigation and the total compliance of all the operations and services according to internal and external regulations.
  • Monitor operations performance on agreed upon key performance metrics and implement appropriate action plans where needed.
  • Drive and support efforts aimed at (over)achieving metrics by measuring and monitoring performance adhering to consistent processes and monitor and communicate finance operational results in a timely and effective manner.
  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Qualified CMA's/CWA's in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise resource planning product costing & SAP ERP
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and highly adept at building resiliency within them
  • Progresses productively under conditions of change and ambiguity and defend the vital changes in the organization helping others prepare for the impact and acceptance of such changes.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and initiative to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Minimum of  7 to 8 years of related work experience
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience working with Manufacturing or Shared Service entities
  • Manage stakeholders in regional and global environments with extensive experience working in a diversified industry environment.
