Trainee Chartered Accountant - Audit - Early 2022 apprenticeship intake - Start ASAP

Want a career in accountancy that sets you apart?

We have Audit Trainee opportunities available to start immediately within our Exeter office as part of our 2022 early apprenticeship intake.

These positions will suit individuals who have already graduated and are keen to start their accountancy careers asap. Upon joining, you will have the opportunity to begin your ACA qualification studies straight away.

Our first-class Trainee Chartered Accountant (ACA) training programme enables you to develop a rewarding career in one of the UK's most forward-thinking, ambitious, and growing accountancy practices.

But it doesn't stop there. Our approach to trainee recruitment focuses on long-term investment. We're looking for the next generation of managers, directors and partners who will drive our business forward and deliver our success.

Our investment in you.

Recognised as an ICAEW Partner in Learning, you will study for the ACA qualification as part of a Level 7 Apprenticeship, to help you develop the wide-ranging skills needed to become a talented business adviser. You will be supported to complete a wide range of professional and personal development throughout your apprenticeship, both remotely and face to face, to ensure that you have skills and knowledge that you need to aid your future career development.

Join our team.

As an Audit Trainee, you will help investors and stakeholders to better understand the financial performance of their businesses. Working with a variety of clients- from SME's and family-owned businesses through to large corporate and not-for-profit organisations, you will provide professional advice to add real value to their businesses.

To be successful within the role, you'll need to adopt a strong commercial mindset and the ability to work on multiple tasks within a fast-paced client focused working environment.

But it's not all about work. Our trainees are all encouraged to make a wider contribution through business development activities and initiatives such as CSR, diversity and sports and social activities. This allows you to develop into both technical experts and the future leaders of our business.

We know this gives our business a refreshingly different, people-focussed culture. It is no coincidence then, that we've been ranked as one of the Top Five Best Accounting firms to work for in the UK in 2021.
