Cost & Management Accountant with Manufacturing experience

We are looking for an agile, fast-paced, quick-thinking Cost Accountant; someone who will add value and assist with the costing, collecting and analyzing of data for our range of products that have stood the test of time.

 If you are looking for a cushy office job, then this job is not for you! We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable working in the Finance team and in the factory, being hands-on with our products, and working closely with our on-the-go Operations manager.

You must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and 5-10 years' demonstrated experience in costing in a manufacturing environment. You must have strong communication skills, including an ability to explain results to Management and make recommendations as necessary. You will need to manage employees who are involved in cost functions such as selling price structures, Bill of Materials, time&motion costing, and overhead recovery in departments. 

The best-suited candidate will have the following demonstrable attributes: confidence, self-starter, ability to use your initiative, detail-oriented and meticulous with a keen interest in the cost-efficient operations of the organization.

Your attitude of pioneering all ideas of modern costing methods including apps for time and cost analysis will give you the edge. You should have basic knowledge of Asana, app-based clocking systems, Slack, monday.com, trello , everhour, clockify , etc, or other cloud-based software.
