On behalf of our Client, we are looking for knowledgeable, bright, client-focused and engaged individuals to join the company's Shared Service Centre, in the position of an Finance Manager.

Your new role

The Finance Manager will be responsible for meeting accounting, legal and statutory requirements, whilst maintaining maximum customer satisfaction and ensuring that service levels are met or exceeded. Your scope of duties will include:
  • Leading, motivating and organising personnel to adhere to company's core values and deliver high level of staff engagement
  • Ensuring that all staff are properly trained and have appropriate resources available to support success
  • Controlling the reporting and reconciliation of, but not limited to, fixed assets, inventory, prepayments, VAT, intercompany accounts and leasing
  • Leading and implementing strategic initiatives linked to corporate objectives in order to ensure continuous improvement and best practice
  • Ensuring adequate financial controls are in place including compliance with SOX and ensuring that internal and external audit requirements are met

What you'll need to succeed

  • University degree in finance or business administration, or equivalent
  • Qualified Accountant with ACA, CIMA or ACCA or equivalent
  • read/write/speak English and Polish fluently
  • Working knowledge of Oracle financials is a plus
  • IFRS, US GAAP and SOX compliance
  • strong customer focus (for internal stakeholders and external customers) and be confident communicator (written and verbal)
  • Delegation skills and ability to motivate and generate enthusiasm throughout the organization;
  • Highly numerate & strong analytical skills
