The Global Liquidity Management TTS In Business Risk/ IBC Head works closely with their TTS Global Head of LMS, the Global COO and the Global TTS In Business Risk/ IBC Heads to implement the TTS risk and control framework and policies (owned by TTS Risk), and partners with the Franchise Risk and Control functions that cover Information Security, COB, Outsourcing, Fraud, Data, Compliance, AML, and Records Management, along with the O&T Risk and Controls team in order to stay abreast of risks and issues that relate to the business, to escalate these to the TTS Business Head, and to perform analysis and trending.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the Controls environment in the TTS business- working in partnership with all areas in TTS as well as partners. This includes ensuring execution of Citi policies and tools such as the Operational Risk Framework. Some of the components this includes are:
  • Operational Risk Management Policy & Standards: ensure adherence to Citi and TTS Operational Policies and standards and effective roll out of new and revised policies including:
  • Regular monitoring and review of operational risks and controls across the business
  • Identification of improved/ enhanced processes and/or new processes that should be implemented for any gaps identified
  • Working with Regional IBC Heads and product partners to implement any enhancements needed to mitigate operational risk for TTS
  • Facilitate and lead KOR/ORIs identification each year. Work closely, with TTS Regulatory Head on alignment with MRI
  • Identify trends/ concerns based on reviews of PLEs, operational losses and MCA results and work with Regional IBCs and Product partners to document IBAMs and corrective actions
  • Risk and Regulatory Compliance (Fed, OCC, PRA, CFPB, FDIC and others)
  • Creating consistent In Business Controls infrastructure across the TTS business
  • Coordination/status tracking of Audits and Exams; work with Global In Business Regulatory Head on all reviews and audits to ensure appropriate preparation, pre-review assessments and post-review remediation
  • Support and management of expanding regulatory /consumer protection policies (CFPB) and execution/ implementation of other regulatory changes through diligence across the business on compliance with reg changes (reg CC etc.)
  • Coordination with the consumer bank, ORM and other Citi entities as necessary/applicable
  • Analysis and monitoring of client and segment relationships to mitigate risk
  • Oversight for TTS iCAPs (Issues and Corrective Action Plans) monitoring and management
  • Implementation and oversight of MCA procedure including making continual process improvement where warranted
  • Management of TTS in business risk/ controls metrics
  • In Business Privacy Officer (IBPO) to ensure consistent practices in line with Citi Data Privacy and Confidentiality policy and standard
  • Process improvement, Governance and Best Practice implementation:
  • Leveraging work done through TEDD (TTS Enhanced Due Diligence) program - monitor ongoing improvements in our risk control framework
  • In conjunction with Independent Risk, ensure KRIs/ORIs are kept current, monitored, trended and taken action on as appropriate for continual improvement
  • Execution of comprehensive executive reporting to ensure transparency across the senior TTS team
  • Documentation of proper escalation procedures
  • Support institutional training to ensure proper understanding and command of key risk/compliance matters
  • Work with regional and global partners to map and document processes and utilize those maps to support the TTS business in identifying risks and incorporating appropriate controls to ensure compliance to both Citi policies/ procedures and our Regulators
  • Review Internal Audit results for gaps, ensure remediation and access for applicability across other areas of TTS
  • If applicable, institute a feedback mechanism so remediation is addressed for all areas
  • Third Party Risk Management:
  • Key point person working with ICG TPRM and Citi TPRM in rolling out the revised Citi approach
  • Reexamining current vendor engagement processes with procurement and all other functional partners (TPISA etc.)
  • Represent TTS viewpoint to ensure modifications to policy incorporate TTS business needs
  • Instituting vendor on-boarding and ongoing management processes and controls
  • Supporting third and fourth party engagement processes and diligence
  • Support tighter integration and transparency with broader ESRM organization
  • Implement new TPRM policies and mechanisms across TTS as appropriate
  • EDCS Management, Attestation Management and Mandatory Absence management for TTS


Qualifications:

Knowledge/Experience:
  • 10 years+ experience in the Financial Services Industry
  • Deep understanding of the TTS product suite
  • Risk management experience
  • Leadership skills including ability to work effectively and drive results with a virtual global team
  • Ability to lead and drive controls across the products and functions irrespective of reporting lines
  • Ability to manage through influence (e.g. management in the absence of reporting lines or with matrix reporting)
  • Ability to build rapport and work closely across geographies and corporate LOBs/ functions
  • Experience, or exposure to Transaction processing, a plus
  • Up to date understanding of key risk and control concepts, tools and trends relating to risk identification, rating and prioritization, mitigation and reporting
  • Knowledge of regulatory environment
  • Risk based thinking and analytical mind set
  • Self-starter who can work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and manage concurrent projects and deliverables
  • Proficient in MS Suite of application
