Finance Manager - Near Ipswich, Suffolk - £35000 - £40000 + benefits
Your new company
An established Suffolk business is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their finance team in a hands on Finance Manager capacity. The role will be based at their office located near Gt Blakenham, Suffolk.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Director and working as part of a small and proactive team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily accounts function. Key duties will include
- Management accounts preparation
- Assisting with preparation of board meeting reports
- Assisting with budgeting & forecasting
- Cash flow management & reporting
- Monthly job costing and analysis
- Overseeing a small finance team of 2
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a track record in a similar role working in a SME environment. A strong team ethic will be essential as will a proactive and positive approach to providing guidance and support to more junior team members. Knowledge of Sage 50 and Sage Payroll would be highly beneficial.
