Aspart of our EY-Assurance Team, youwouldbethemain point ofcontact from GDSforthe tasksassignedby the globalclientservingassuranceteamsand beresponsiblefor the timeliness and
quality of deliverables alongwith managing dayto dayoperations ofthose engagements.

communication andleadership skills.

Yourkeyresponsibilities

• Lead anengagement fromtheGDS front and ensure the team delivers timelyandhigh-qualitywork, asper EYGAM andinline with theGlobal teamexpectations.

• DemonstratestrongunderstandingofGAMwhileperformingreviewsofproceduresperformed by GDS staff, alongwith knowledge of EYtools to make reviews moreefficientandmeaningful.

• DevelopandmaintainproductiverelationshipswithkeyEYGlobalcounterpartslikeAssurance executivesbasedout of AmericasorEurope.

• Developan understanding ofEY Qualityand RiskManagement proceduresand ensure theseare embedded into theengagement team'swork.

• Proactivelydiscuss workflowmanagementwith theassuranceteams, allocatingresources totheassignedwork andmonitoringperformanceagainststandards.Monitorutilizationfor uone's team, budgettoactuals, and other operational matters.

• Demonstrateprofessionalism,competenceand clarityofcommunicationwhendealingwith GDSand Globalteams.

• Establish expectations of valueto bedeliveredtotherespectiveGDS Global teamsaligned.

• Identifyopportunitiestoimprove thescope of work for GDSon one's ownengagements.

• Standardizereview processesalongwithleveragingbest practices acrossone'saligned engagements orbeyond.

• Motivate andlead one'sGDSteammembers, identify andfoster key talents, coach andsupervise teammembers.

• Be responsibleforvariousoperational mattersrelatedto engagements aligned.

• Conduct timelyperformance reviews andprovideperformance feedback/training. Lead byexample.

Skills and attributesforsuccess

• Knowledge ofIndianaccounting and assurance standards or knowledgeofIFRS/ UKGAAP/ USGAAP and International review standards is anadded advantage.

• Excellentcommunication skills.

• Effectiveinterpersonal, riskmanagement,facilitation and presentation skills

• Projectmanagement, leadership,coaching, counsellingandsupervisory skills

• Abilitytospread positive work culture, teaming and live EYvalues.

• Theability to quickly form strongworking relationshipwith colleaguesinIndiaandglobalteams.

Toqualifyfortherole,youmusthave

• Freshly Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI)

• 0-1 year ofSubsmallexperiencein Assurance.

Ideally,you'll also have

• Proficiency inMS - Excel,MS - Office.

• Interestinbusiness andcommerciality.
