The Reporting Accountant will be responsible for timely co-ordination and submission of UK the healthcare company group reporting requirements. You would be supporting the strategic evolution of the UK group business through management of group requirements, co-ordination of UK financial services such as financial accounts, group credit control, central banking and support the integration of existing/future mergers and acquisitions.

Description

The key responsibilities of the reporting accountant include (but are not limited to):

Developing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting of the UK group companies.

Develop and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders involved in financial reconciliation.

Supporting the co-ordination of the UK group budget and forecast commitments, and monthly analysis of UK performance.

Analysis of business systems, banking and processes that support integration of the UK group and future acquisitions.

Liaise with key stakeholders to assess and deliver maximum value through business process improvements and group wide efficiency's.

Define group credit control processes, manage aged receivables and UK central banking.

Profile

The successful reporting accountant must:

Be ACCA, CIMA, AVA or equivalent qualified.

Be competent with analytical modelling tools.

Have a working knowledge of NetSuite, Hyperion or other financial systems.

Experience of handling tight financial deadlines.

Previous input into forecasting, reporting procedures and budget planning.

The successful candidate will have:

A strong diligent financial understanding with solid accounting skills.

An ability to work under pressure and to cope with change.

A positive proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Strong analytic ability, coupled with the ability to influence stakeholders.

An understanding of business cash requirements, credit control and customer engagement.

An ability to provide leadership in defining solutions across processes and systems.
