Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides Corporate Secretarial Services in Tax & Legal LOS
  • Maintain a portfolio of corporate secretarial clients
  • Assist with the Corporate secretarial responsibilities for a wide range of companies including preparation and review of Corporate secretarial compliance forms/returns
  • Liaise with clients for compliance matters including the structure of their entity as and when necessary
  • Maintain corporate records (including statutory registers) in paper based and electronic format
  • Assist with the coordination of Annual General Meetings, Extraordinary General Meetings, Board and Sub-Committee Meetings and the transcribing of minutes
  • Interact with Board Chairpersons, Board members and Management in respect of the discharge of responsibilities
  • Assist with due diligence, quality and risk management procedures
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, particularly with COJ and TAJ
  • Provide support in the share registration practice and all other areas of the service offering of the regional practice, including Corporate Governance
  • Maintain billings and receivables as it relates to the assigned portfolio
  • Assist with any other related task

Capabilities / Skills Required:
