The Role
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement long term financing strategies and financing/risk management plans, identify investment opportunities worldwide, and take a leading role in feasibility studies and work together with other departments during the M&A process.
- Plan, coordinate and execute corporate and project financings for the investments in HK and overseas countries
- Performs market analysis in areas such as business segments, market size, key drivers, trends, competition, etc., in order to evaluate market potential
- Establish and maintain rapport with bankers and investors to support the company's future project & acquisition
- Monitor market development and competitor intelligence to facilitate senior management's decision making
- Preparing financial modelling, investment analysis, scenario studies to support the group's investment decisions and finance projects
- Ensure compliance of relevant regulations, policies and guidelines and monitor the regular updates of policies and accounting standards in both Hong Kong and PRC environment
- Support daily loan, cash management, FX and derivative portfolio of the businesses
Requirements:
- University degree with professional qualification in finance, accounting or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 5 years' relevant working experience in banking, treasury or finance field. Big 4 experience is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of corporate and project financings, treasury products, financial derivatives, export credit policies, bank lending and risk mitigation practices
- Strong leadership, commitment, management and negotiation skills
- Leader and team player who works effectively, independently and with others
- Fluent in English, Chinese and Putonghua. Good command of writing skills in English and Chinese
