Accounts Payable Officer

A long time client of ours based in Milton Keynes who is boasting record revenues in the Manufacturing and Production sector are looking to bring a technical Senior Accounts Payable Officer to bolster their finance team. The successful Senior Accounts Payable Officer will join a team of 12 reporting directly into the Accounts Payable Manager.

Description

The successful Senior Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for:

• Processing of invoices and payments
• Payment runs
• Sales Invoices
• Cash Receipts
• Reconciliations of Petty Cash
• Daily Bank reconciliations
• Reconciliations of Expenses
• Month End Procedures
• Reconciling supplier's monthly statements
• Maintain Excel schedules for Prepayments, Deferred Income, Accruals
• Assist with month end procedures
• Assist with year-end accounts and supply of audit information

Profile

The successful Senior Accounts Payable Officer will:

• Have a minimum of 3 years Accounts Payable Experience
• Have ideally have experience of International ledgers (not essential)
• Excel Intermediate to Advance - Including Pivot tables and Vlookups
• AAT Qualified not essential
• A proactive attitude to work
• Personable
• Firm but fair approach to dealing with colleagues and their expenses
• Attention to detail
• A true self starter
• A team Player
• Strong communicator both written and verbal

Job Offer

Salary of up to £29k and a package including 25 days holiday, pension and hybrid working.
