The Financial Reporting department is looking for a high potential individual to fill in the open position within their “Application Support”-team.

In the role of Financial Reporting you will be responsible for:

The Business Analyst and Financial Reporting Administrator (BA_FRA) will report to the Team-Leader of the local Financial Reporting (FR) Application Support team that is also in charge of the regional FR technology strategy and rollout. The main element of the candidate´s tasks is to act as the bridging element between the production teams (within the local Financial reporting department and also regionally within the HUB in Poland), the several applications the department is using and the related software providers/vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and investment funds related business knowledge. A key skill that is required is the ability to translate the business and the regulatory reporting requirements and demands into strong automated solutions. Acting as “Super User and Technical Expert” of the different applications, the focus is on resolving technical issues met and introducing ad-hoc and strategical solutions to enhance automation, overall set up and scalability, etc. With growing experience, the candidate should develop a clear picture and understanding of the several data sources and data workflows surrounding the different applications. From time to time, the candidate will be asked to support key cycles from a business perspective to enable identifying processes to automate and to further enhance. To support the deployment of new solutions into the current process framework the candidate will act as key contact to coordinate, test and implement new releases and migrations with the software providers/vendors.

To be successful in this role, your experience should include:

  • Basic knowledge of the fund industry/ fund accounting principles/ financials and derivatives instruments coupled with process automatization
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance or Mathematics or IT, with in depth interest in coding (e.g.: VBA/SQL) and MS Office tools
  • Motivated, good interpersonal and communication skill, reliable and responsive, client orientated, good organizational and analytical skills
  • Excel, Word, VBA, Access
  • English, French (an advantage), German (an advantage)
