About the Financial Accountant role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of reporting and compliance requirements, and be a key point of contact for accounting activities ensuring appropriate controls and compliance is adhered to.

About the Financial Accountant role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of reporting and compliance requirements, and be a key point of contact for accounting activities ensuring appropriate controls and compliance is adhered to.
Key responsibilities:
- Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting
- Fixed asset accounting support
- Inter-office cost allocation
- Monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasting
- Assist with development and management of accounting policies
- Provide advice and support to management
- Assist with board reporting
- liaise with external auditors
- Promote financial awareness
Key selection criteria:
- CA or CPA Qualified
- Experience working in a chartered accounting firm or 3+ years experience in a similar role within industry
- Sound understanding of Australian accounting principles
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to engage with stakeholders across various levels
