Hays are delighted to be recruiting for a 12 month interim Deputy Capital Accountant role within a public services organisation in Sheffield on a fixed term basis.
Your new role
In your new role you will be require to support the Capital and Investment Finance Manager in the management of the Capital Programme.
You will be responsible for monitoring the Capital Charges budget to allow timely and accurate monitoring of expenditure, income and cash flow.
You will provide high quality financial services, information, analysis and advice to all levels of the organisation, alongside managing a small team of 3 junior members of staff.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be immediately available or available on short notice as this is an interim position with the client requiring a quick start. You will have recent and relevant Capital and Management accounting experience. Experience of working in the NHS is desirable. You will need to have high attention to detail and experience of supervising a team. Qualified CCAB or CIMA, studying towards or AAT Qualified are desirable for this position.
