Overview:
This leading international manufacturing business in Didsbury is looking for a Finance & Planning Manager to support the operational teams with planning, financial analysis, as well as driving productivity within the region
Outline duties: Support team to deliver annual financial targets
Support the team with clear financial tools & analysis to enable better decision regarding planning, forecasting and actuals
Establish and own process for "look ahead reviews" to identify financial risks
Develop process to improve accounting
Develop and maintain key financial metrics
Co-ordinate annual budget process for the region
Support collation of monthly financial data for review
Ensure all costs are forecast, provisioned and reconciled
Co-ordinate with the Finance team to lead AR process within Service team
Planning:
Own continuous improvement of planning process to ensure resources and financials are captured for UK & abroad and ensure it is consistently applied throughout the region.
Establish and own process for "look ahead reviews" to help identify future financial/resources risks for the immediate financial year
Consolidate area planning forecasts for 1, 3 & 5 year to provide an overall region view to support budget process
Other key skills:
Significant experience with financial analysis
Experience managing people
Experience in project resource planning
Experience developing and executing budgets
Experience managing a team
Education:
Bachelor degree (e.g. Business administration or technical degree), equivalent technical or professional qualification or equivalent job experience
Excellent English language skills, additional language skills would be advantageous
Computer literate, able to use MS Office, SAP and in house database and workload management systems
Personal profile:
Excellent relationship management
Strong negotiating skills
Planning & organising skills
Willing to travel on regular basis, including nights away from home.
Resilience & tolerance of frustration
Good Presentation skills
Conflict management
Customer focused approach
