Finance Manager (Personal Wealth)
Salary up to £58.000 DOE
Location WFH 3days Office Wed&Thur
You'll contribute to a busy and thriving team to support the management and control of our finances including capital & liquidity, statutory & regulatory reporting and investment accounting. We're looking for energetic professional people who are excited by the opportunities this presents and the difference they can make.
What you'll be doing
You will have line management responsibilities for at least two direct report, with operational management of other colleagues at month end.
Ownership of the production of monthly board and reporting
Owning the production of monthly board and reporting packs, including P&L, balance sheet and cash-flows
Production and oversight of monthly controls pack, testing key financial controls and highlighting any risks
Manage the annual audit process, acting as a key contact for the audit team
Producing annual statutory accounts and disclosures
Assisting with the annual audit process, acting as a key contact for the audit team on costs
Providing insight and analysis into key business drivers as required
Supporting ad hoc projects as and when required
Partnering with the wider business, including cost centre managersYour qualifications & experience
Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA), with at least 2 years post qualified experience (PQE) preferred
Knowledge of Workday or other similar financial accounting systems
Strong technical accounting skills
Strong analytical skills, particularly in using Excel
Experience of leading and influencing others
Experience of implementing and delivering controls testing, with a keen eye for identifying risk
Wealth or financial sector experience preferred but not essentialResponsibilities, Accountabilities and Deliverables
Completion of the statutory accounts and audit
Expected to work as part of the team on audit, leading the statutory accounts process
Report to Senior Finance Manager
Essential skills Qualifications and Exp requires to do the role
Qualified accountant - ideally at least 2 years post qualified experience
Wealth experience preferred but not essential
Strong statutory accounting experience
