Company Accountant - Worksop - £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
Chase & Holland are excited to be working with our key client again as they continue to grow and are now looking for a Company Accountant. Reporting into a Finance Manager, the Company Accountant will be responsible for delivering financial accounting support services to Group. You will act as a focal point for the company with accounting and reporting and provide information to the statutory accounting team to facilitate the production of statutory accounts and tax returns. As the Company Accountant you will need to be a qualified accountant with strong technical ability and a competent understanding of UK and IFRS GAAP. The ideal candidate will have experience with treasury transactional and disclosure accounting, inter-group settlement, dividends and the accounting impact of disposals, acquisitions and subsidiary restructuring. Company Accountant Responsibilities:
Work with Group Treasury to produce interest P&L and cash flow budgets and forecasts for the Finance.
Manage the accounting aspect of the group's substantial inter-company loan portfolio.
Assist Treasury with actual vs budget variance analysis
Be the key person for the business with accounting and reporting
Provide information to the Statutory accounting team to facilitate the production of statutory accounts and tax returns
Administer the group Tax intercompany licence fee spreadsheet
Work with the multicurrency invoicing process and ensure monthly revaluation is captured correctly
Produce quarterly investment summaries by currency for two of the group's holding companies and work with Treasury to complete the associated FX matching process
National statistics, insurance data, cash flow forecasting
Balance Sheet and Bank reconciliations are completedRequired Skills & Experience:
Qualified Accountant with the ability to problem solve escalations relating to the production of accounts whilst looking at the wider business impacts and opportunities for process improvements
Knowledge of SAP, BPCIn Return You'll Receive:
