Financial Analyst

Working in the London based finance team, your role as a Financial Analyst will be to provide commercial insight and reporting on a variety of projects as well as regular month end reporting.

Description

As a new addition to the growing finance structure, this is a varied role where you as the the Financial Analyst will provide insightful financial and commercial insight into the activities of the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and reviewing KPIs
• Reporting and analysis of capex spend
• Assist the Divisional Controller in building long term strategic plans and models
• Assist in position reports and monitoring of position risk
• Execute counterparty risk management process for distribution business
• Assist in preparation of budgets and long terms plans
• Ad hoc project reporting and analysis

Profile

The ideal candidate will have a good academic profile (good university and degree and A Levels) with some current commercial financial experience who is looking to further their career in the Financial Analysis direction.

Key requirements include:

• University degree
• Some experience in a commercial, ideally international environment is an advantage
• Good attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work with tight deadlines
• Ability to build and nurture effective relationships internally and externally
