Trading Fees Data Controller #191307

The individual will have oversight over all aspects of processing and managing trading fees incurred by the firm, mainly through unique Transaction Expense Management System called EXCALIBUR. The EXCALIBUR is a key system to make Credit Suisse best in a class in variable expense efficiency among our peers. The platform gives our user community the visibility and leverage needed to strategically manage and optimize the multi-million dollar BCE (Brokerage, Clearing & Exchange) as well as Settlement and Custody expenses that the bank incurs annually. This role is within the wider Group Operations and is key to identify and drive fundamental efficiency improvement projects across various divisions.

As a Trading Fees Data Controller you need to have certain level of skills and experience in order to meet our business partners demands and high standard of the service that we provide.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English
  
• Hold university degree in Finance or Mathematics/Physics/Statistics
  
• 1-2 years of proven experience
  
• Strong analytical skills and can-do approach to problem solving with proven ability to develop and implement solutions
  
• Ability to manage work independently, prioritize, multi-task and be effective and dedicated
  
• Service oriented and have enthusiastic attitude and ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines
  
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  
• Results oriented individual with strong focus on attention to detail
  
• Highly motivated self-starter, focused with an ability to learn
  
• Advanced excel - Required to work extensively with Excel and should be able to organize large amounts of data and have good knowledge of lookups, pivots and IF statements
  
• Proven experience in retrieving data from large databases by writing SQL queries
  
• Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, JIRA would be a plus
  
• Work or educational experience with P&L, Balance Sheet, Payment System would be an advantage
  
• Background in Financial Markets (Exchanges, Brokerage or Investment Banking would be an advantage
