Page Personnel are currently recruiting for an established UK manufacturing business based in Hull. Due to continued and sustained growth within the business over the last few years, our client now have a fantastic new opportunity available for a Management Accountant.
Client Details
Our client is one of the UK's leading ambient cake and chilled dessert manufacturers supplying recognisable major retailers across the UK and European market. The business have recently secured an injection of capital investment which has seen them double in size in terms of employees. This capital investment has resulted in the need to expand the Management Accounts team.
Our client is looking for a forward-thinking accounting professional with previous experience working in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant position to provide guidance in matters of Finance to help the business make well-informed operational decisions.
Description
Reporting into the Senior Management Accountant and Financial Controller you will be directly responsible for assisting he preparation and production of the management accounts on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
This will include key preparation of the management accounts across both UK & Ireland as well as other responsibilities such as supporting in the timely completion of month end/year end accounts, budget preparation, KPI reporting, reporting of and supporting the reduction of operational costs with emphasis on manufacturing variances, assisting with year end audit and completing any ad hoc reporting and tasks.
Profile
- Will have held a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role previously
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
- Excellent Microsoft excel skills such as Vlookup and Pivot Tables
- Strong analytical skills
- Effectively manage a number of key stakeholders within the business at various levels of seniority
- Confident in accounting software, experience with Oracle would be desirable.
