Elevation Recruitment Group are very excited to be recruiting for an ambitious, intelligent, and highly enthusiastic Finance Analyst on behalf of a well-established business
This role is newly created as a direct result of the continued growth and success which the company has had year on year and so they are now looking to increase their headcount and invest in a progressive Finance Analyst. In addition to working for a supportive and impressive team, you will also be given the opportunity to work 100% from home and long-term development opportunities.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Working directly with & supporting the Senior analyst
* Produce variance analysis for actual results versus forecasting/planned numbers.
* Collecting information, analysing trends and report in a presentable way aiding decision making and accurate forecasting
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review.
* Compile and prepare detailed reports including graphs and charts of data analysed through Microsoft Excel
* Assistance with dealing with internal and external audit queries and information requests
* Actively engage in continuous improvement ensuring suggestions and opportunities are highlighted to your line manager
* Take an active role in the company's sustainability initiative and ensure, where possible, your actions support the achievement of this initiative; reuse, recycle and replenish.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety, corporate, client and legislative standards across the function
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Ad hoc duties as required
Skill and attributes required:
* Desirable: undergraduate degree at 2:1/ 1st or equivalent, preferably in a relevant subject (accounting/finance/business).
* High performing A-Level leavers will also be considered.
* Possible part qualified AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
* Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
* Ability to analyse data accurately and quickly.
* Good attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, in order to effectively engage a wide range of stakeholders.
