Client Details

My client is a very successful, growing organisation that is going from strength to strength, operating within the Logistics distribution and Supply chain industry.

They have a brilliant client base made up of a diverse range of key clients and smaller accounts, putting them in a really strong position which is allowing them to continue growing and taking market share.

Because of this, they have created two new Finance Analyst positions within their team, working in a dynamic, flexible working environment and office culture.

Description

The key responsibilities within each of the Finance Analyst positions include:

  • In depth analysis of financial and commercial data for the organisation using a range of IT systems and databases
  • Extracting and manipulating this data, in order to highlight trends and variances as well as commercial opportunities for the business
  • produce and present this data with commentary to clients and key stakeholders around the business
  • Influence and guide stakeholders, supporting them to make strategic business decisions using this data and the dashboards that you have created
  • Help to improve and implement processes within the finance team that will add value to the organisation, helping them to improve efficiencies and margins, reducing costs in all areas
  • build strong working relationships internally both within the finance team, but also with your stakeholders and clients of the organisation

Profile

The successful candidate for the Finance Analyst role will possess the following skill sets and qualities:

  • Previous experience in data analysis utilising a range of systems and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, Hyperion, Access etc.
  • The desire to work for a growing organisation, adding value by implementing new processes and procedures that will support the business in its continued growth and success
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Team work, as well as the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
  • The ability to influence and challenge whilst building strong working relationships with others
