Join us as a Senior Data Scientist – Machine Learning for Internal Audit. Working with our cutting-edge data analytics team within the audit function, you will have the chance to work on a variety of projects in the data science and machine learning space. Using your expertise, you will have the opportunity to contribute and develop machine and deep learning models as well as other advanced analytics projects. In your expert role you will additionally review and assess models across the bank, providing insights regarding risks and adherence to industry standards. You will research and stay up-to-date with novel machine learning algorithms and industry and regulation developments and make this knowledge accessible for the wider team.

Your skills and experienceDo you want to feed your curiosity, enabling Internal Audit to deliver compelling assurance by turning the banks data assets into insights?
- Master’s degree or PhD in a highly quantitative field (such as Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar).
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels of an organization and multifunctional teams including business and technical staff.
- An agile mindset, able to effectively manage multiple tasks and changing priorities to deliver effectively towards deadlines.
- Experience working with at least one programming language such as Python, Scala or C/C++.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of machine learning, neural networks, and the fundamental algorithms in the field
- Proven track record of putting your theoretical knowledge into practice using ML libraries/frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, MLlib, etc.
- Familiarity with other data tools and languages including SQL, Spark/PySpark, Tableau etc.
- Business knowledge in banking, finance or accounting preferred, but not essential
- Fluent English skills, German skills nice to have.
