Our Animal Health Division at our organisation in the UK employs over 600 people. We produce over 1 billion doses of vaccines per year, which are distributed to more than 50 countries worldwide. The organization is comprised of sales, marketing, market access, digital analytics and commercial professionals who are passionate about their role in bringing animal health medicines to our customers worldwide.
We are looking for a placement student for 12 months to join the Animal Health Commercial Systems & Insights team as a Business Analyst. Data is fundamental in the way we drive insights to meet and exceed our customers' expectations. Working across various data sets ranging from sales, market data, customer data and using commercial systems, the student will have a wide range of exposure to the various areas of the business where data is consumed. It is an exciting opportunity to work in the ever-evolving pharmaceutical industry and support our day-to-day operations.
The successful candidate will gain valuable opportunities and experience both within the role and working collaboratively across many business groups, providing a superb opportunity to learn about the dynamics across the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.

Duties
- To support delivery of company and product level reporting
- Develop new tools and reports to support decision making from data
- Analysis and insight on key performance indicators to aid marketing decision making
- Support in maintaining master data- to ensure accurate reporting
- Drive further usage of our CRM technology (Customer Relationship Management) to gain further insights into our customers
- Support end-users with training and support on multiple platforms and dashboards
Technical Specifications
- You will be looking to complete a 12-month placement in your third or penultimate year of study, returning to your course at the end of the placement
- Studying a degree in Business, Maths or Science based disciplines (or equivalent qualification)
- Studied Business/Maths and/or Sciences at A-Levels (or equivalent qualification)
- Demonstrates numerical and analytical skills both in terms of data and people
- Preferred Microsoft office skills: Excel and PowerPoint
