Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant within our internal Finance department, you will be responsible for the accounting of several entities from A to Z. You will complete a team of 4 accountants and will be working under the direct coaching and supervision of the “Head of Accounting”.

You will work on the bookkeeping and reconciliation of the accounts. You will prepare bank statements, bank transfers and payments to suppliers. You will contribute to the preparation of the monthly and annual closing. You will be in charge of the reconciliation of time sheets with billing data to prepare and book client invoices for several entities. You will ensure compliance with reporting requirements (internal and external). You will monitor and take appropriate action in regards to cash collection. You will analyse and explain differences between actual and forecast numbers. You will prepare drafting of reforecasts and budgets You will support external audits You will assist the teams in the client onboarding process by creating the client billing data in the internal systems. You will participate to ad hoc projects such as integrations and process improvements.

You are a solid team player, a structured worker with eye for details. You welcome change and have a “can do” attitude. You are an effective communicator with a no nonsense approach, able to interact effectively with senior people in the organisation is key. Moreover, you are a self- starter and autonomous, able to work towards deadlines but at the same time you have a critical mind-set towards numbers or info presented.

• Bachelor / Master in Accounting, Economy, Finance, or Management
• Experience: 5 years minimum in an accounting position
• Fluent in English and French
• Advanced excel skills, IT savvy (accounting and reporting system)
• Experience with SUN, Exact Globe or Sage BOB are an advantage but not required
• Familiar with Luxembourg GAAP
