  • Filing and maintenance of Books of Accounts
  • Banking
  • Maintenance of Branch cash books and ensuring that all cash deposits are made on a timely basis
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintenance of Petty Cash including checking and reconciliation of branch petty cash returns.
  • Capturing of all transactions onto the accounting system
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts as per set deadlines
  • Attend and participate in meetings as required
  • Assume responsibility for effectively researching, tracking and resolving (or properly referring) accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
  • Maintain regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey information and/or correct transactions
  • Other duties as assigned
