- Be responsible for the maintenance of proper accounting records in accordance with required accounting principles and standards and the establishment and implementation of an effective system of internal accounting controls with proper processes, policies and procedures in place for the generation of reliable, accurate and timely accounting information for the Company
- To participate and assist the Chief Financial Officer in the overall financial planning and budgeting processes including cash flow planning and funds management of the Group.
- To coordinate and assist in the preparation of annual budgets and profit forecasts and their subsequent reviews on periodic basis (monthly, quarterly) so as to track the progress of the financial performance of the Company and make appropriate recommendations for improvements.
- Be responsible for the financial review and interpretation of accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis especially variance analysis of revenue and expenditure trends and recommending appropriate measures for resolving discrepancies and for cost controls.
- To manage and monitor working capital and cash flows of the Company, where necessary and applicable.
Job Requirement
- Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification in ACCA, MIA or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting or audit field.
- Able to handle a full set of accounts and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Conform to policies, procedures and statutory requirements including accounting, auditing, taxation, listing and internal control.
- Meticulous, careful, resourceful and dedicated with a positive working attitude.
- Good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to guide, mentor and monitor the work performance of the staff.
