Seeking a seasoned accountant role with extensive experience from manufacturing industry.

Tasks & responsibilities
  • Management of financial stewardship, provision of timely, reliable and accurate financial reporting and budgetary control.
  • Planning and forecasting functions and provision of financial and commercial advice to ensure the financial integrity and profitable future growth.
  • Functional responsibilities including business strategy support, budgeting, forecasting, review of individual unit monthly, half yearly and annual management and statutory accounting reports.
  • Analyzing the returns and forecasts, provision of analysis of results, ensuring appropriate internal controls and reviews are undertaken.
  • Ensuring efficient management control, financial and administration management, information systems recommendations, working capital management and capital investment evaluation.
  • To provide risk management advice and to ensure legal, insurance and corporate governance aspects are undertaken.
  • To ensure the implementation of required controls, new policies, common systems and prescribed standards and to obtain timely accurate and reliable information, obtain synergies, reduce costs and optimize the cash position.
  • Providing financial and taxation advise on business structures, plans and operations.
  • Prioritization of capital expenditure by ensuring rigor in the formulation of any business case, post implementation reviews, due diligence in any acquisitions and assist in identifying and facilitating the divestment of operations.
  • Preparation and processing of supplier payments, both ad hoc and regular
  • Maintaining internal control systems.
  • Assisting in preparation of budgeting and forecasting process and policies for the company.
  • Assisting with Quarterly Stock take, control and sign off.
  • Preparing data from sales, purchasing, and engineering/ technical personal for customer quotes.
  • Assisting in processing payroll and providing support to the payroll team as required.
  • Preparation of reconciliations and producing financial reports as directed.
  • Preparation of monthly financial and management reports.
  • Assisting in internal audits and providing assurance of the information contained in the financial reports and their compliance with the statutory requirements.
  • Any other ad hoc duties within the capabilities and skills.
  • Effectively contributing to a culture of teamwork and the delivery of excellent customer service.
