We are currently looking for an experienced Compliance Assurance Executive with knowledge of the FCA regulated industry, to join us on a permanent basis. This role is primarily remote working but will have an element of office working.Our Compliance Assurance Executives deliver a robust Second Line Assurance programme across all areas of the business; including the servicing of mortgages, loans, investment products and complaints. This role ensures that Target Group remains compliant with all relevant regulatory obligations and tests against approved policies and procedures, identifying and recommending enhancements to drive continuous improvements and fair outcomes for customers.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Perform testing and risk reporting in line with the annual Compliance Business Plan - conducting Thematic & Focussed reviews on a broad range of regulatory requirements.
  • Regular monthly testing activities including; Holistic Arrears Handling End to End customer outcome testing, but also Complaints, Investments, CASS, DSARs and Regulatory Letter Monitoring.
  • Escalate any issues through appropriate mechanisms to ensure that corrective or remedial action is performed.
  • Ensure issues are appropriately graded in line with department procedures and guidelines.
  • Identify business improvements which may drive revenue generating change controls or reduce exposure to financial loss.
  • Maintain appropriate record keeping of all outcomes testing for evidential and reporting purposes in line with department procedures.
Requirements We're looking for someone who has:
  • Knowledge of financial services market, financial products and associated regulation of the industry.
  • Good knowledge of FCA, CCA, DPA rules and guidance and FCA complaints process (DISP).
  • Attention to detail and the ability to present/report information clearly, concisely and accurately.
  • Ability to plan work load to ensure delivery to stringent timeframes.
  • Strong written and inter-personal communication skills (with experience in business report writing)
  • Ability to work on own initiative
