A growing Funds Management Organisation, located in the Sydney CBD is looking to hire a Senior Accountant into their Finance team. This newly created role will be responsible for end-to-end accounting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience within Funds/Asset Management and will be CA/CPA fully qualified.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ownership of the Financial Reporting and Fund Accounting for the Real Estate
• Work closely with external stakeholders including provide oversight of fund administrators
• Review and analysis of various reporting/calculations
• Review and analysis the performance of the Funds
• Support Financial Controller with reporting, treasury management and other general accounting requirements.
• Work closely with Distribution teams and portfolio managers
Key Requirements:
• CA/CPA qualified
• Prior Funds Management experience required, ideally within the Real Estate/Property Sector
• Big 4/Mid Tier External Audit or Business Services background ideal
• Strong Attention to detail and a continual improvement mindset required
• Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management
