The Commercial Finance Analyst will play a key role in the Global Transformation Office working with TUI's global functions on their transformation plans held in Daptiv (project management system) and assisting in the preparation of regular briefings to key stakeholders such as Investor Relations, the Group Executive Committee ("GEC") and Strategy Committee of the Supervisory Board.

The GEC requested earlier this year that a central governance framework be set up to cover transformation, restructuring and other major projects in order to drive a common approach to TUI's transformation. All relevant projects now sit under one Global Transformation Program. The portfolio has been reframed to a functional structure having Aviation, Marketing, Sales & Services, IT, Musement and Hotels as its key components.

This an exciting opportunity to work in a small, truly international team with key stakeholders in Group Controlling, HR and Markets and Airlines and exposure to senior leaders from the outset.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Work with multiple functions (ie Aviation, Marketing, Sales & Services, IT, Musement and Hotels) to review their transformation plans, assessing benefits delivery versus plan and corresponding risks and opportunities, KPI evolution and identify any interdependencies between projects. Support the team in challenging forecast, 3 Year Plan projections across benefits and project costs (ie SDIs, Capex, Opex). Assess and improve the granularity of existing initiatives and work with the functions to close any tasking gaps.
  • Provide support in the preparation of regular briefing updates to the GEC to demonstrate progress in benefits delivery and corresponding KPI tracking, cost control, project risks and opportunities and functional deep-dives. Assist in Strategy Committee/ Supervisory Board updates (3-4 times/ year) along with quarterly investor relations updates and the annual 3YP presentation.
  • Support Group Controlling and HR in proving that declared benefits are found in local P&Ls and aligned with HR records. Work closely with Markets and Airlines FP&A team given that majority of benefits sit within Markets and Airlines P&Ls. Set up weekly Group Transformation team meeting and agenda.
  • Work closely with Project Controlling teams to understand their Red, Amber, Green "RAG" monitoring process in Daptiv and the impact of new business cases and change requests.
