Salary: €30,000
On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Administrator for a well-known Irish company in the Shipping industry based in Dublin 1. This role would suit someone with a keen interest in finance and who is looking to develop their career and skillset further.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive and process invoices to operational and accounting system (SAP)
Liaising with suppliers to ensure invoices are correct and queries resolved in a timely manner
Prepare and manage weekly payment of invoices that have been processed and agreed, and the recording of same in SAP
Communicate externally with suppliers and internally with colleagues to ensure the processing of invoices and payments are kept up to date
Ad hoc duties within the accounts department as required
Constantly assessing the systems in place to see if improvements / efficiencies can be found
PERSON & RESPONSIBILITIES
Good organisational skills
Attention to detail
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong IT skills, notably Excel to advanced level
Strong sense of ownership and curiosity to learn new skills or ways of simplifying the role
While some experience would be an advantage it is not a requirement as full training will be provided. Self-motivated, energetic with a positive attitude and a desire to drive constant improvement and change.
