Business Analyst - UK E commerce

Client Details

Our client is UK E-commerce company focusing on luxury products. The well-known brand has exposure over different online platforms and retail stores, and they are setting a new sales record in this year. With expansion plan next year, they are now seeking for a Business Analyst to join their finance team to cope with new changes.

Description

• Prepare and deliver monthly full P&L for related BU by brand by channel, communicate with different stakeholders and analyse gap vs rolling forecast / budget / last year.
• Work with business managers to prepare the annual budget, monthly rolling forecast, monitor the performance by providing insightful analysis and recommendation
• Support business team to set up different development opportunities/scenarios (new channel / new product / new customer etc.)
• Review PR (purchase requisition), check financial dimension / supporting document / budget consistency. Control the expenses claims process and coordinate with different stakeholders if any question or problem.
• Engage in process optimization and standardization to improve business operation efficiency.
• Work closely with Brands for performance review, new products launch/offers simulation and sell in/sell-out tracking.
• Support ad hoc project and tasks assigned

Profile

• Bachelor or above degree.
• About 4-5 years of work experience in similar position in MNC with preference for FMCG/beauty/retail/Luxury exposure
• Self-motivated, pro-active drive to achieve deliverable under pressure
• Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skill with problem-solving approach
• Advanced Excel/PPT skill, ERP system experience will be a plus.
• Fluent oral and written English
