Senior Internal Auditor

Senior Internal Auditor - Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit: Our client have an immediate need for an experienced Internal Auditor ideally with strong experience in Shared Service Environments. This opportunity will suit candidates looking to move from practice into industry. Key tasks will include the following Collect and analyse data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies. Prepare detailed reports on audit findings. Supervise auditing of establishments, and determine scope of investigation required. Report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities. Undertake operational and financial internal control and compliance reviews evaluating the adequacy of the control environment Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources would be highly desirable. ACA or other relevant accounting qualification with ideally 3 years+ Internal Audit experience required. Experience on Computer-assisted audit techniques / CAAT would be beneficial. Strong MS Office skills and excellent Excel required. Knowledge of Oracle Financials would be an advantage.
