What you'll achieve

The primary responsibilities apart from team management are preparing the quarterly accrual reports and monitoring the actual rebate payout process and ensure partners are paid timely, monitoring performance through close reports and Variance Analysis. Our business partners are in sites across the globe and this is an excellent opportunity to get exposure to supporting a team in diverse locations. You will be part of a collaborative and dynamic team that welcomes different perspectives and a spirit of innovation..

You will:

As a Finance Professional, you will be part of an operating team handling rebates transactions. You will be under a group handling tasks and transactions that may be related to: Rebates calculation, Journal Entries, Reconciliations, Accruals and Actuals.

  • Lead and direct the team in operational goals
  • Reviews and approves accruals and actuals.
  • Directs team to achieve assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies for rebates
  • Directs team on compliance to internal controls
  • Assists team members in the determination of the appropriate process, policies and/or procedures to be used
  • Responds to escalated internal customer account inquiries and issues
  • Builds relationships with internal business partners on issue resolution, and resolves issues involving cross- functional teams
  • Has an in-depth knowledge of transactional systems impacting the area of work
  • Interact with auditors and provide necessary support for all audits - internal and externa
  • Preparing the quarterly accrual reports and monitoring the actual rebate payout process and ensure partners are paid timely manner
  • Process transition and stabilization
  • Independently drive operational and transformational projects
  • Consolidation and validation of payments made to various partners and preparation of all reports required for analytics and other processes.
  • Help the team to make the central payment process seamless.
  • Help the team in driving wider Initiatives and hoshin related projects

Essential Requirements
  • Proven business acumen with good financial awareness
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented, at ease with numbers
  • Strong Excel and written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage varying workloads during the month/quarter end and proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Can work independently and be a self-starter
  • Flexible and able to learn on the fly and be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity
  • Strong team player with ability to work in remote teams
  • Enthusiastic, forward thinking, self-motivated individual, willing to learn, results driven.


Desirable Requirements
  • People management experience
  • The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree with 14+ years' experience in finance
