Are you a talented Financial Accountant or Finance Manager, or are you aiming to be one?
Can you demonstrate that you have strong technical Accounting experience whilst supporting month end duties?
Have you working in around Treasury areas (banking, FX payments and loan arrangements) - maybe currently or hpreviously working in a Financial Services related organisation? (although this is not a requirement at all)

The Role:
In the Financial Accountant role you'll report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for driving and delivering financial reporting, overseeing banking/treasury areas and supporting month end duties as required, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a best in class and proactively supportive finance function to the wider complex organisation and colleagues.
This position is based in the company's Coventry office 3 days a week (2 working at home), so please ensure that's within a reasonable commutable distance for you before you apply.

The Candidate:
To be the right person for Financial Accountant role you will need strong technical accounting skills.
We also need you to have prior experience of:
Yearend accounts preparation and the more technical elements of accounting
Supporting all audit requirements liaising with external auditors
Happy with general hands-on duties including journal prep, accruals/prepayments fixed assets, balance sheet and nominal ledger recs
Treasury knowledge, previous exposure to dealing with banks, loans FX and general banking arrangementsIt's important that you also have the following:
Previous hands-on accounting experience across technical statutory accounting and month end prep support areas
Strong time and task management skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Some exposure to international payments and working with multiple currencies (this is desirable rather then a 'must have')We need you to be presentable, confident and someone who works well under pressure and be as happy working in a team as well as alone on your own steam when required.

The Package:
The basic salary for the Financial Accountant role is between £35,000 - £42,000 per annum DOE.
You'll also receive other benefits with the role which include flexible role, 2 days working from home, 3 in the office and enhanced pension (9% company contribution).
