The Head of FP&A will provide thought leadership & direction to the Leadership Team across a broad range of strategic, commercial & financial issues. As such, the Head of FP&A will be a crucial partner to the CFO, M&A & Commercial Finance Director, as well as Europe CEO in ensuring that the business achieves both its short term and longer-term objectives.

Description
The Head of FP&A is responsible for all planning & analysis activities designed to achieve the company's growth, revenue and profit targets across across Russia, CIS, Central, Eastern & Western Europe. The role will consolidate plans & analyses performed by the 3 regional FP&A teams (France, Western Europe, Russia) to deliver visibility to the CEO & Leadership Team. The role will facilitate best practice sharing across the regional FP&A teams. Finally, the role will partner with the M&A team to deliver special projects in support of growth in the region.
A) Develop World Class Strategic Planning
Partner with CFO & regional finance teams in the construction and realization of the business's annual & multi-year Strategic Roadmap.
B) Ensure Rigorous Performance Management Across the Organisation
Consolidate quarterly reforecasts to ensure that financial, operational & development goals are coordinated with clear milestones
Be a champion for the delivery of company profit goals. Identify opportunities for growth, and solutions to potential
Risks, liaising with regional teams for execution
C) Be the Champion for Truly Great Commercial Insight and Reporting
Partner with IT team & regional teams to enhance reporting, to create analysis that delivers sharper insights - to identify and unlock growth opportunities
Be a know-how sharer through monitoring and communication of key competitor activities and performance
D) Lead Other Special Project Work and Financial Analysis as Required
Work alongside the Commercial Finance & M&A Director on Special Projects incl. M&A, new partner search, strategic partnerships & aggregator strategy
Profile
- Consistently strong academics in management, finance or economics: Masters from a top University
- Minimum 8 years professional experience, in strategy consulting, commercial finance or strategic planning
- Prior experience in retail and/or food & beverages is a plus; passion for it is a must
- Key skills required: strategic mindset, high financial literacy, expertise in financial modeling & analysis, strong influencing & interpersonal skills, strong drive & self-starter mentality, ease within matrix environments, passion for personal development & coaching (self & others)
- IT: Office pack, Excel mastery; experience with Business Intelligence highly recommended
- Languages: high proficiency in English & French required, all other european languages is a plus
