Job description:
A niche 2 partner Chartered Accountancy firm, based in North West London, member of the HAT Group of Accountants, is looking to recruit a trainee accountant. Client sectors ranges across a variety of areas including Retail, Technology, Manufacturing and Healthcare. You will be working mainly on small and medium sized clients, generally with turnovers up to £100m. The position will involve dealing with a wide range of UK companies and UK subsidiaries of international groups. Duties will involve using online bookkeeping software e.g. Xero/Quickbooks Online, posting invoices, preparation of customer statements, performing bank reconciliations, preparation of management accounts, VAT returns preparation, weekly client bookkeeping visits and assisting client queries. Can progress to preparation of tax returns for clients and carrying out audits in the future. On the job and 3rd party training will be provided.
