Corporate C&C is a team that looks after Consumer Corporate service & IP entities based in the UK and US, which play one of the major roles in the central cost allocation and home for the group wise components, like pensions, insurances, intangible assets, etc.

The Corporate C&C team is responsible for delivering the financial reporting, compliance, and control services, covering a wide scope of Global Support Functions, Corporate area, and intercompany transactions.

As a part of the Corporate C&C team you will support the Finance Controlling Manager for CH Corporate Entities in delivering complete, accurate and timely IFRS reporting (corporate reporting) and you own the Balance Sheet for a set of given markets.

You will oversee a BPO team located in India, for a set of given entities. Your responsibilities will include – but exhaustively:

  • Supervising of Financial Reporting activities and BPO delivery operations - for a set of given regions: General Ledger, Period End Close and Balance Sheet Reconciliation activities
  • Accountable for an accurate and timely delivery of the IFRS reporting (corporate reporting) and the Balance Sheet in your scope
  • Reporting periodic closing activities in line with accounting standards, group policies and procedures your scope
  • Cooperate with the Process Service Delivery Leads overseeing the provision of certain accounting services: fixed assets, intercompany, and Master Data management
  • Be the point of contact for the Customer and Auditors
  • Monitoring of internal control system to ensure it is in line with compliance requirements (including SOX requirements)
  • Managing internal and external audit procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement within Corporate C&C team both in Poznan and BPO, you are accountable to identify opportunities and work closely with Global Process Owner to deliver change initiatives
  • Support the successful delivery of projects in collaboration with Global Process Owner and relevant department in GSK to deliver the Finance strategy
  • Managing your people always in line with GSK Values and Expectations, drive individual and team performance, fostering engagement and motivation in the team, ensure adequate individual development and strong succession plan

Basic qualifications:

  • Accounting degree or qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience of working with SOX
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Reporting or Audit firm, or similar role
  • Experience of working in a corporation environment
  • Team management experience
  • Fluent English (minimum C1)
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Willingness and availability to take part in migration process
