Positio n summary

At EY GDS Assurance, Pursuit Manager would be a key role and would work with the onshore senior executives on private pursuits to develop impactful and winning proposal documents. The Pursuit Manager will work closely with the GDS Assurance Pursuits Lead, GDS Enablement teams and Knowledge team to customize proposals to the extent possible and would have complete ownership of the deliverables throughout the pursuit lifecycle. This would include support on RFI (Request for Information) / RFP (Request for Proposal)/ proposal responses and thereby coordinating with internal resources and managing submission timelines through high quality proposal documents.

Primary Responsibilities

The Pursuit Manager will w ork with the GDS Assurance team to assist the global firm where in his/her responsibilities would include:
  • Managing inbound pursuit requests, tracking of activities, progress and internal coordination to execute as per required timeline
  • Quickly analyzing opportunities, understanding needs and developing high-level proposal requirements, and to coordinate response till completion
  • Collaborating effectively with multi-cultural, dispersed and multi-party teams & working within a matrix structure to harness capabilities of the team and craft a winning proposal
  • Managing proposal response schedule and compliance matrix to ensure all requirements are met
  • Reviewing completed drafts and proposal sections to address requirements and meet customer page limits
  • Engaging in proposal knowledge management processes by maintaining re-use libraries and ensure accuracy of current information
  • Building monthly dashboards and presentations, best practices and case studies
  • Building strong working relationships across teams, and drive continuous improvement in existing & new processes to improve processes


Requirements
  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in presales/proposal development function primarily in audit firm
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage and prioritize inbound requests and coordinate execution to required timelines
  • Ability to take ownership of end-to-end deliverables
  • Strong exposure and understanding of sales life cycle, global delivery models (On-site/Off-shore etc)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, proficient with MS Office & SharePoint for collaboration. Having exposure on InDesign/Photoshop will be an added advantage
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, quick learner, innovative, and evangelism of the latest solution & technology adoption trends
  • MBA from a good educational institute would be preferred
