Harmonic are proud to be working exclusively with one of the UK's fastest growing tech start-ups who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant.
The Company:
The business is a rapidly scaling tech scale-up who raised significant Series A funding and are close to finalising a multi-million Series B from a renowned Venture Capital backer. In spite of Covid, during the last financial year their revenue tripled, they are now looking for a Financial Accountant to bolster their finance team of 4.

You will be joining a business that has plans to scale from 40 employees to 150. This presents a fantastic opportunity to get in at the ground level of a rapidly scaling business and have a significant impact on their journey.
The Role:
Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading the month end process and statutory reporting responsibilities for the business. There is fantastic progression on offer, with a clear pathway to Financial Controller in 12-18 months. You will also have the opportunity to build your own team. This is the ideal role for a newly qualified ACA looking to make a mark at an ambitious, scaling business.

The Duties:
- Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Leading on month end close process (accruals and prepayments).
- Statutory reporting.
- VAT returns and reporting.
- Driving efficiencies and process improvements.
- Working on budgeting and controllership.
- Ad-hoc projects and tasks to support the wider business.
What we need to see (essential):
- ACA Qualified ideally - open to seeing CIMA/ACCA candidates
- Strong understanding of IFRS reporting guidelines
- Excellent communication skills
What we'd like to see (bonus):
- Experience with Xero
- Multi-currency experience
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 plus share options
