This is a role in our client's Finance Department, reporting to the Financial Controller and will manage the day-to-day accounting transactions for this growing listed business.

The client is a multi-national business in the health care sector, continually growing with offices in Edinburgh.
Description
- Manage the day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls and processes, including overseeing processing of invoices, payments to suppliers and monthly bank reconciliation reports.
- Contribute to the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts and provide appropriate analysis and backup as required.
- Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations.
- Contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, including supporting disclosures, and ensuring all deliverables meet agreed timescales.
- Assist with the provision of information to auditors in the course of quarterly reviews, annual audits and any other filing activity.
- Ensure compliance with Group finance processes and controls.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Group finance system, and identify where improved functionality can aid efficiency and/or control.
- Work closely with all members of the Finance team under the direction of Financial Controller to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and ensure adequate cover of key routines.
- Other ad hoc finance activities to support the continued growth and development of the business.
Profile
- Part qualified/ qualified by experience.
- Keen to make a positive impact on processes & systems.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Good Excel skills & system experience.
- Good presentation skills.
- Good time management & organisation.
