About the role

The Senior Accountant is focused on coordinating and processing day-to-day accounting transactions and as well preparing financial statements and regulatory reports related to the computerized portfolio of so-called “Special Purpose Vehicles” (SPVs).

The Senior Accountant will work in direct contact with all members of TMF staff and in cooperation with the Capital Markets team.

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Understand and interpret “Special Purpose Vehicles” structures’ life cycle from inception until maturity date;
  • Prepare Statutory Annual Accounts by IFRS 9, Dutch GAAP or Lux GAAP;
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly regulatory reports to the European Central Bank;
  • Participate in projects related to LUX tax reporting services;
  • Participate in internal training modules, coach and monitor junior accountants;
  • Review accounts and reports prepared by junior accountants;
  • Import and refine external security data and bank movements data, suppliers data;
  • Operate independently with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and internal database applications;
  • Reconcile Balance sheet positions with external sources and/or confirmations;
  • Liaise & Report to CMS offices serviced by the department;
  • Manage own portfolio in respect of planning, meeting deadlines and quality of work;

About you

Ideally, you are meeting following hiring criteria:

  • 3-5 years of relevant Financial accounting and reporting experience;
  • Previous experience in an international company will be considered an advantage;
  • Relevant knowledge in Finance and Capital Markets;
  • Ability to communicate and interact well;
  • Excellent level of English;
  • Excellent computer literacy;
  • Supporter of teamwork.
