Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with the Finance Director of a fast paced and growing manufacturing business, as they look to appoint an ambitious and driven Accounts Assistant to join their team!
This is an exciting and progressive opportunity for a Degree or AAT Qualified/ Part Qualified candidate to join a leading manufacturing business, based in Doncaster and be part of a friendly, forward-thinking team to take on the responsibility of Accounts Assistant.
This role will report into the Finance Manager; the role will offer fantastic exposure and will be incredibly varied, with duties including, but not limited to:
- Management of purchase and sales ledger (processing, raising invoices and dealing with all relevant payments, reconciliation and queries)
- Credit Control and debt reporting
- Management of the cashbooks
- Assisting with month-end processes and management accounts (accruals, prepayments, journals etc.)
- Relevant reporting and wider finance duties as requested)
Person Specification:
- Either towards the end or fully AAT qualified, OR with relevant degree
- Ideally some finance/ accounting experience
- Ambitious, driven and strong work ethic
- Able to pick things up quickly and keen to learn
- Strong communicator
