Semi Senior Accountant

We are a firm of Chartered Accountants & Tax Advisors based in Stanmore and are looking for a highly capable Semi Senior Accountant to join a growing and friendly team.

Candidates should have the ability to extract and analyze complex financial and accountancy data, striving for high standards in every aspect of their role. Highly intelligent individuals with excellent communication skills. Should be technically sound, with a good work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Day to day bookkeeping and reconciliation of debtors/creditors

• Preparing VAT returns and submitting them under MTD if required

• Preparing final accounts from nominal ledgers provided by clients or extracting the relevant information from accounting software

• Preparing CT600 tax returns and tax computations whilst taking into account any capital allowances available

• iXBRL tagging and submission

• P11d preparation and submission

• Profit extraction planning

• Preparing and submitting self-assessment tax returns

• Managing Companies House Submissions

• Processing Payroll

• Preparing income and expenditure accounts for rental income and self-employed individuals such as but not limited to locum doctors and dentists

• Calculating capital gains on sales of property, shares and other assets

• Assisting with Personal Tax planning

• Overseeing junior staff and managing their workflow to support the delivery of services to clients Requirements

Requirements:

• ACCA Part Qualified

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Good organizational and interpersonal skills

• Minimum work experience of 2 years
