GET TO KNOW THE ROLE

  • The role is expected to bring in business analytics skills and financial services knowledge, provide analytics support for deep dives and scrubbing, provide root causes and generate and substantiate business and operational insights that are pivotal to consumer/partner loyalty, retention, product development and long term business growth.
  • Collate data, develop regular reports and ad hoc customized analyses to support the Service/Operations excellence team on root cause analyses, contact behavioral analytics and share with business and product stakeholders in regular reviews
  • Always use data to demonstrate operational improvements, pinpoint issues and substantiate proposed structural & procedural improvements in the systems and SOPs with the objectives
  • Run small product improvement /optimization projects independently, able to identify improvement opportunities and implement quick fixes /solutions to address the issue.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for the associated service support systems and respective data elements, able to churn and data mine within a short turnaround time to meet business objectives
  • Systematically monitor and track assigned project metrics, deliver project documentation, business oriented presentations with fact based data driven description of the current problems, root causes, solution proposal and execution plan
  • Explore: Uncover best customer insights through customer research and analytics in order to support decision-making
  • Launch: Propose and launch impactful projects that lift the Customers experience
  • Deliver: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data insights
  • Influence: Work with stakeholders to make impact happen
  • Collaborate : Work with members from different teams towards a single goal
  • Advocate for our consumers and partners, laser focused on delivering superb delightful world class experience Try, break, succeed, repeat

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years of business / data analytics experience in financial industry : Banking/Payments/Insurance/ Fintech
  • Prior experience with Customer Support function and tools is a definite advantage
  • Bachelor degree with strong academic track record
  • High level of flexibility in working in a high-pressure working environment
  • Fast on the feet - Demonstrated ability to problem solve in unfamiliar territory
  • Commando - Able to work fast in small teams but with broad organizational reach
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence across several organization levels and several cultures
  • Experience in engaging across Asian markets and cultures

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Knowledge of analytical tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, and SQL querying on AWS/Azure data platform. Preferred knowledge of data programming (Python, R)
  • Flair for numbers, strong analytical skills and structured process thinking, attentive to detail
  • Visual person - Ability to use data visualization to summarize meaningful insights
  • Structured head - Demonstrated understanding of financial/banking business processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word; Advanced presentation, time management skills
